Breaking: Tinubu to meet with APC governors to discuss appointments and NASS leadership
Today, All Progressives Congress (APC) governors will gather for a meeting with President Bola Tinubu.
Apparently set to take place at the State House, the meeting will be presided over by Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma, who was just elected Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum.
President Tinubu and the APC governors are currently meeting for the first time since this week since his inauguration.
Nine of the attendees are newly elected governors, and the remaining 11 are incumbents.
The agenda for the meeting, according to a dependable source familiar with the proceedings, would include discussions of ministerial appointments, the choice of leadership for the National Assembly, and the general course of the government.
Many governors, who have already chosen preferred candidates from their respective states, are expected to take advantage of this chance to present those candidates to the president.
