Kaduna INEC accused of thumbprinting unused ballot papers on Saturday to defend case in electoral tribunal on Monday.
A video has surfaced online Sunday morning with a yet identified men alledging that some INEC staff were caught thumbprinting ballot papers on Saturday to bridge the gap of election results claimed to have been won by the Alliance Progressive Congress (APC) party flag bearer, His Excellency Uba Sanni, in defence of the INEC in the Kaduna State election petition tribunal on Monday 10th July, 2023.
The video showing a lot of ballot papers littering on the ground had a man explaining the incident with the voices of others at the back ground.
” Very unfortunate, that we are here in the headquarters of INEC in Kaduna, where the INEC is supposed to supply us with subpoenaed documents of INEC to the court on Monday, but unfortunately, after rigging us out in the 2023 governorship election in Kaduna, the INEC Staff who are in charge of Kaduna North Local Government, who are sorting out this documents were caught here and they took to their heels, they were caught here, sorting out ballot papers, tearing fresh ballot papers that have not been used, adding them up into the ballot papers, so that they would cover up the gap of the rigging they’ve done”.
The voice further threaten that they would do everything possible to get justice for the people of Kaduna state and that INEC must proof to all how the APC won the election.

INEC declared Uba Sanni as the winner of the match 18 Governorship election in Kaduna state and has since been sworn-in but his rival under the umbrella of People’s Democratic Party, Rgt Hon Muhammed Isa Hashiru challenged his victory before the Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Kaduna State.
