Bola Tinubu, the candidate for president of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has received the support of a well-known Fulani organization, Fulbe United for Peace and Development (FUPD).
Leaders of the Fulani group supported Tinubu at a meeting in Abuja on Sunday, according to a statement made on Monday by Abdulaziz Abdulaziz, the media assistant to the APC flagbearer.

If Tinubu is chosen as the next President, he will, according to his speech at the meeting, offer a long-term solution to the conflicts between farmers and herders.

On Sunday, Tinubu made the commitment while giving a speech in Abuja under the auspices of the Fulbe United for Peace and Development (FUPD).

He was quoted as saying, “I never thought I would meet a Fulani man who speaks better Yoruba before this day. Absolutely wonderful.

“This is the Nigeria we want to see. We anticipate a united, culturally diverse, and people who believe in one another Nigeria. I want to assure you that I would tell you the same tale if we remained in this location for another five hours. We are grateful to Allah. Herders have caused us issues. However, I can promise that the issue will be permanently resolved today. The design is almost complete. With it, we’ll make plans. We live in a just and beneficial world.
“We must live in peace for the sake of not only the present but also for the sake of our children and grandchildren.

We discover that the Fulani people are straightforward and dependable. You receive the commitment they offer. “You know you are in my heart. I hope I can pass on to my grandchildren the blood and spirit I received from you for the unity, stability, and peace of Nigeria. Nigeria will be great thanks to us. And we’ll elevate the name Fulani to the highest regard.
