Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has predicted that those in authority who are oppressing ordinary Nigerians with their position will eventually be eaten up by worms.
According to reports, the venerable cleric made the proclamation on Sunday while preaching at one of his Church branches.
Pastor Adeboye predicted that God would soon intervene on behalf of Nigerians who were being mistreated by the powerful. God had told the cleric at the beginning of the year that some balloons would pop in 2023, which he had predicted to his congregation.
Again in his sermon, Pastor Adeboye warned that any group using its power to halt the spread of the gospel would be devoured by worms.
He continued, “The Almighty God predicted that some balloons would burst at the start of this year. Because there are some people who are making life difficult for the average person, I am looking forward to seeing those balloons pop. They are in a position to cause chaos among people and have the authority to do so.

“They abuse their power to bring misery to the common man. Some balloons must deflate. Nebuchadnezzar was aware of the identity of the Most High God by the time God was through with him.
“I can say with certainty that anyone who tries to obstruct the proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ will be devoured by worms,” added Pastor Adeboye.
The Almighty God’s mighty hands will descend and strike some people, pointing them out to worms, as the heavens open.
