Apostle Johnson Suleman Calls Out Dangote as Truck Kills Three in Edo

Auchi, Edo|TEC News|19th August, 2025

Renowned cleric, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has publicly called out Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, after one of his company’s trucks allegedly crushed three persons to death in Auchi, Edo State, on Sunday.

The General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries, who is based in Auchi, took to his social media page to condemn the tragic incident and accused Dangote of negligence in managing his fleet of trucks.

The development comes just days after reality TV star, Phyna, also criticized the billionaire following the reported mauling of her sister by a Dangote truck.

Expressing his anger, Apostle Suleman alleged that many lives have been lost due to what he described as “recklessness” on the part of Dangote’s business operations.

His statement read in part:

“@aliko_dangotegcon you are not the only rich man on earth. Your recklessness in managing your business has caused harm to families and made many parents childless. Your truck just killed 3 persons few minutes ago in Auchi. You give trucks to little boys who are high on drugs and untrained. This won’t go unchallenged.”

The clergyman vowed that the incident would not be swept under the carpet, insisting that the victims’ families must get justice.

Authorities are yet to release an official statement on the crash as of press time.
