2 Chronicles 26:5
And he sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God: and as long as he sought the LORD, God made him to prosper.
A lot of people wonder if God exist but more people wonder what is the mind of God in regard to the Prosperity of His children. Some people have abandoned God and many are at the verge of walking away from faith with conclusion that they can no longer be helped by God to succeed as God doesn’t prosper anyone. Some other people believe totally that poverty is a part of the deal for eternity. The truth is, it would be more profiting to God and the kingdom when we prosper than when we are poor. As a matter of fact, many have lost the faith and compromised due to poverty. Do God really prosper people? Do God have the power to prosper. In today’s scripture, Uzziah became a king at the age of 16 which is an underage with low understanding capacity, reasoning capacity, strenght and even with the challenge of leading people that are older than himself. Yet, the bible says God prospered him.
Why would God prosper Uzziah? because he sought the lord. He didn’t prosper because he was talented or anointed, he wasn’t blessed because he was educated and promoted. He didn’t prospered because he was sponsored by a God’s father, parents and even for been hardworking. No! Uzziah prospered because he sought the lord and the lord prospered Uzziah.

You are not failing because you are carrying the bible or attending all fellowship and prayer meetings or vigils, but because you are not seeking God. You are not in penury or broke because you are tithing, giving offerings or sowing seeds but because you are not seeking God. Religiosity does not guarantee prosperity but to seek God is to find gold. If you seek God, He would prosper you because God’s Seekers Prosper. Abraham sought the lord and he prospered. Isaac and Jacob did and they prospered. Joseph did and he prospered. Job sought the lord and he prospered. Nehemiah did, Deborah did, Peter did, Paul did, and they all prospered. Daniel, Shedrach, Meshach and Abednego all sought the Lord and they prospered. God’s Seekers Prosper. You shall prosper in Jesus name.
Genesis 39:3
And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand.
Today’s Quote: Religiosity does not guarantee Prosperity.
If we diligently pursue God, He will deliberately prosper us.
Prayer Points: Lord show me the how to seek you and prosper me in Jesus name.
Shortly from today, we shall look into how we can seek God and for Him to prosper us. Shalom.
