The Force of Determination

And truly the Son of man goeth, as it was determined: but woe unto that man by whom he is betrayed!Determination is a force on its own capable of sponsoring a win. Determination is the quality of mind which reaches definite conclusions; decision of character; resoluteness. With determination, there are no considerations for any alternatives. Determination abhor options. It is a state of no going back, no return, no turning other ways and no change of mind about a decided cause or path.
Jesus said to the disciple that he must go the way of the cross just as the decision was taken years before then. He was aware of the betrayal to come. He was aware of the persecution ahead. He was sure of the torment and death involved but it was a decided cause. No going back since God’s will is involved and the sacrifice of the lamb was a necessity.
Beloved, obstacles would always stand against good causes. Challenges would always characterize meaningful endavour. Don’t despise inconvinience when you desire comfort. If you don’t mean it , don’t start it. The tenacity within would decide the prosperity without. When you see obstacles, raise your tentacles.
On a good cause, you don’t mind the stains, the pains, the guts, gulls, gullies, the hurts or even the blood. If it is a meaningful, sensible, responsible, good, rewarding cause, Godly and assigned cause, then apply determination to all you do about it. Determination kept Jesus going for the possibility of our salvation. If he had failed, we would have been doom. Also you and your cause, if you stop or fail, there is a doom somewhere waiting. Get up, go on, run on, pursue and ensure you sail on with determination. Success in Jesus name.

Prayer Point: The power of determination, fire me on in Jesus name.
