Along the MCC/Uratta Road, the Imo State Police Command discovered a church being used as a nursery.
After receiving information about a member of the public named Amarachi Okechukwu Dioku, the tactical unit of the police stormed the Jesus Life Assembly church on Thursday.
On May 23, 2021, the parents of the 18-year-old girl from Umudurualaoka in the Mbaitoli Local Government Area reported her missing.
The adolescent was most recently seen on the grounds of the isolated church in Owerri North LGA’s School Garden neighborhood.
Evangelist Ugochi Orisakwe, 47, was the main suspect, and Commissioner of Police Rabiu Hussaini sent the anti-kidnapping unit to raid the scene.
Along with Chidi Orisakwe, 34, Pauline Nwagbunwanne, 42, Elizabeth Uzoma, 61, and Chibueze Joy, 31, Ugochi was also detained with these gang members.

Amarachi Dioku, who was five months along in her pregnancy when she was rescued unharmed, was treated at a government hospital before being reunited with her parents.
Evangelist Ugochi admitted during questioning that she had been keeping young girls at the church so they could be impregnated there.
She revealed to the detectives that the girls are paid off after giving birth and their infants are sold to wealthy, childless clients.
“An investigation is ongoing and efforts are on to arrest other members of the syndicate who are on the run,” the Imo State Police Command noted.
