Kashim Shettima, the running mate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate, has explained why Northerners should not support Atiku Abubakar, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Shettima argued that Atiku should be abandoned by Northerners because he opposes the region’s Islamic legal system.
At the APC’s local government conference in Daura, Katsina State, he made the call while conversing with party members.

Because Mr. Abubakar opposed Sharia, the APC presidential running mate urged Northern voters to vote against him on February 25.
Shettima asserts that Atiku Abubakar should be used instead of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar when referring to the person you claim as your own.
