College Of Education Akwanga Gets New Provost.

The College of Education, Akwanga, has entered a new phase of leadership as Dr. Best Barau Nuhu officially received his letter of appointment as Provost from the Secretary to the Government of Nasarawa State (SSG), Hon. Barr. Labaran Shuaibu Magaji (SAN).
TEC News gathered that the brief but dignified ceremony took place in the SSG’s office and was attended by the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Dr. Kwanta Yakubu, alongside other guests and stakeholders from the education and government sectors.
While presenting the appointment letter, the SSG commended Dr. Barau for his dedication, humility, and passion for educational development, expressing confidence that his leadership will bring renewed progress and innovation to the institution.
In his response, Dr. Best Barau expressed deep gratitude to His Excellency, Governor Abdullahi A. Sule, for the trust reposed in him, pledging to serve with integrity, vision, and commitment to excellence.
“This appointment is a call to greater service. I will build on existing foundations, promote quality education, and uphold the values of the College,” he stated.
