Nollywood actress and faith advocate, Juliana Olayode, popularly known as Toyo Baby from the hit series Jenifa’s Diary, has exposed a digital witchcraft and issued a strong warning to the public which involved a disturbing experience she had online that nearly led to her initiation into witchcraft.

In a recent video shared via her verified Instagram page, Olayode recounted how a random advert interrupted a YouTube video she was watching and invited users to click a suspicious link with unusual spiritual undertones.

“I was watching a movie on YouTube when this strange advert popped up saying things like, ‘If you’ve never broken a bone before, click this link’,” she narrated.

Out of curiosity, she clicked the link — a decision she says immediately triggered a strong spiritual unease.

“Right after I clicked it, I felt something wasn’t right. I knew instantly I had entered into something dangerous. This is how people unknowingly get initiated into witchcraft,” she said.

The actress emphasized that many such digital interactions — often disguised as fun quizzes, entertainment, or enlightening content — are actually strategic spiritual traps.

“Witchcraft is no longer hidden in forests or secret gatherings. It’s online. It’s in our music, movies, adverts — even questions like, ‘Do you know who you were in your past life?’ are subtle spiritual manipulations,” she warned.

Olayode urged Nigerians, especially the youth, to be highly spiritually discerning and cautious about what they consume online.

“The devil is very strategic. There’s a spiritual unrest in many minds, and these platforms prey on that vulnerability. We must not be ignorant,” she added.

The actress concluded by warning against the careless consumption of content, encouraging her followers to stay rooted in their faith and avoid digital content that promotes strange or questionable ideologies.

TEC News urges the public to treat such warnings with seriousness. As the digital world expands, so do subtle forms of influence — not all content is harmless. Stay vigilant. Stay informed. Stay safe.
