25 people pass away in Bauchi ghastly road accident

According to reports, a horrifying traffic accident that occurred at Udubo along the Hadeja-Potiskum Road in the Gamawa Local Government Area of Bauchi State during the week claimed the lives of no less than twenty-five people.

An ash-colored commercial Toyota Hummer bus with the license plate JMA 59 XA was involved in the collision. Overloading and speeding violations that resulted in a tyre blowout and a loss of control were to blame for the accident.

An unknown bus driver lost control and collided with some people who were hiding under a tree. The news outlet quoted the Bauchi FRSC sector commander as saying, “You know the weather is hot, so they were under the tree, and some of them were killed.

According to Abdullahi, 11 people sought refuge under the tree while the remaining 24 passengers were inside the bus.
