🌍 Earth Enters Aphelion: Public Advised to Take Precaution as Colder Weather Sets In

Beginning at approximately 5:00 AM on July 3, 2025, the Earth entered a natural astronomical event known as the Aphelion Phenomenon—a period during which our planet reaches its farthest distance from the Sun in its yearly orbit.
According to scientific data, the Earth typically orbits the Sun at an average distance of about 90 million kilometers. However, during aphelion, that distance stretches to around 152 million kilometers—an increase of approximately 66%, leading to a notable drop in global temperatures.
Though the phenomenon is not visible to the naked eye, its effects can be felt, particularly through colder-than-usual weather conditions that may persist through the month of August.
Medical experts are advising the public to take extra health precautions during this period. The sudden drop in temperature could lead to:
- Coughing and cold symptoms
- Flu-like conditions
- Breathing difficulties, especially for vulnerable groups such as the elderly and individuals with respiratory issues
To stay healthy, citizens are encouraged to:
- Boost immunity by consuming vitamins and immune-supporting supplements
- Dress warmly and avoid prolonged exposure to cold air
- Stay hydrated and maintain good hygiene practices to ward off seasonal illnesses
Whether the skies appear sunny or overcast, the chill in the air is expected to intensify due to the Earth’s current position relative to the Sun.
This event is a normal part of Earth’s elliptical orbit and occurs once every year, with Aphelion (farthest from the Sun) happening around early July, and Perihelion (closest to the Sun) occurring in early January. While the effect on weather is not as extreme as seasonal changes, subtle shifts in climate and temperature can still be observed.
