The Integrity group, or the G5 governors of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, according to Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, is still active.

Before the upcoming elections, which begin on February 25, Wike stated that the G5 governors would not disclose their plan.

He responded to Lee Maeba, the state’s PDP presidential campaign chair, who had said that the G5 was no longer in existence.

The G5 group consists of Wike, Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu, Seyi Makinde of Oyo, and Samuel Ortom of Benue.
To strategize, the group has withdrawn from speaking regularly in public, according to Wike, who was speaking on Tuesday at a campaign flag-off rally organized by the Rivers PDP campaign council for Ahoada East LGA.

You people say G5 is dead, according to Wike’s media aide Kelvin Ebiri. You claimed that we were dead, but we are not concerned; whereas, you are concerned.

“We’re not talking right now, and we’re not worried. However, you are anxious. You don’t understand that there are times for talking and times for acting in politics. The D-day is February 25th, and the action has already begun.

“Our plans and strategies are things you can never know. No matter how much you people pressure us, we won’t reveal our plan. The more you look, the less you see.”
