Anambra Vigilante Group Accused of Road Extortion, Assaults and Exploits Residents over Dirty Gutter

A man has gone on social media to alledge road extortion, assault and exploitations of Anambra Residents by the state’s Vigilante Group introduced by the state Government . 

 

The online user posted a video on his Facebook page named ‘Mc Dave Comedian’ where some men in uniform are seen Harassing traders and destroying goods and shops of business owners along the streets with a voice at the background explaining the video and pleading with the Government of Anambra State to act quickly on the behaviour of the uniform men seen in the video.

 

In his explanations, he said the Vigilantes were destroying shops, siezing goods and would release the goods after the sum of N100,000 fine is paid for a reason that the gutter on the street is dirty and unattended.

 

Another video he edited together reveals how a masked uniform man is collecting money from motorists on the street while MC Dave who spoke pidgin English condemn the act of the personnels masking up and collecting money from motorists , describing it as same attitude of kidnapers.

He pleaded with Governor Soludo to take necessary action before things get worse in the state and to avoid his good deeds and name been dented.

 

As the time this report is been filed, efforts of speaking to any of the vigilante or government has not yielded result.
