God’s Seekers Prosper (2)

2 Chronicles 26:5
_And he sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God: and as long as he sought the LORD, God made him to prosper_.
We are looking at few things in the part two of the above topic and through the above scripture, we said Uzziah became a king at the age of 16 which is an underage with low understanding capacity, reasoning capacity, strenght and even with the challenge of leading people that are older than himself. Yet, the bible says God prospered him.
Uzziah prospered because he sought the lord and the lord prospered him.
Serving the lord is not a curse but attract blessings. Yes, blessings not curses. The key to the blessing here is seeking the lord. It is even expressly stated that we seek the lord.
1 Chronicles 16:11
Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.
Now, how do we seek the lord?
1. Seek God on time and before the days of troubles. Isaiah 55:6. Tomorrow might be too late.
“Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near”: Is 55.6.
2. Seek Him from the heart. 1 chr 22.19. Ps 27.4. Panting after Him. Directing your passion towards God above all.
3. Seek His Laws. Ezra 7.10. His words are His laws. The proof of love towards God is obeying Him in all things either convinient or not. Pleasing the lord against all odds is the Hallmark of genuine believers.
4. Seek Him in righteousness and meekness. Zeph 2.3. Christianity is Character. If you character, you will lack the means to prosper genuinely.
5. Seek Him Consistently. Hos 10.12. Don’t stop seeking God in prayers. Make seeking God a full time job and you would gain all.
Today’s Quote: Those after God also becomes gods.
Prayer Points : The addiction to seek God only, possess me in Jesus name.
As you begin to seek God , may you find Him in Jesus name.
