Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC), has pledged that if elected, he will make Gombe State prosperous and one of the richest states in the nation.
In Gombe, the state capital, Tinubu spoke to a crowd of supporters at Pantami Township Stadium. He promised to give the recently constructed Kolmani oil wells in the state the attention they need to operate fully and provide benefits for the locals.
He also promised to establish an industrial park in the state, which will create jobs, skills, and wealth for the people. He added that the exploration of the Kolmani oil field will be properly managed to foster meaningful development.
He vowed to build on and strengthen the accomplishments of President Muhammadu Buhari and said the nation shouldn’t be allowed to fall into the hands of those who would destroy it.
You will experience prosperity, he declared, if I win the presidency of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Kashim Shettima is chosen to be my running mate.
Gombe State will become one of the richest states in Nigeria as a result of the exploration of the new Kolmani oil, I’ll make sure of that.
The former governor of Lagos State also urged the people of Gombe to support Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for a second term as governor in order to continue the state’s infrastructure development.
As a result, the APC flagbearer expressed his gratitude to the residents of Gombe State and Governor Yahaya for the warm welcome, and he pledged to uphold democracy in the event that he was elected.
