United plan €500m spending spree on Osimhen, others

As a result of their outstanding play in Serie A, it has been reported that Manchester United, a club in the Premier League, is prepared to splash the cash on the trio of Victor Osimhen, South Korean Kim Min-jae, and Georgian winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia during the upcoming summer transfer window.

Ilnapolista, an Italian news outlet, claims that Manchester United are planning to spend a staggering €500 million in the upcoming transfer market, and that Osimhen, Kim, and Kvaratskhelia are at the very top of their wish list of players to acquire.

After having a sensational season with Napoli, Osimhen is the most sought-after striker heading into the summer transfer window. He signed with Parthenopeans in the summer of 2020.

Napoli won the title of Italian champions for the first time in 33 years thanks to the contributions of the Nigerian international player, who scored 23 goals in just 30 Serie A appearances.

According to the next part of the report, the Glazer family is said to have informed the new owners of United that they should prepare for a significant amount of transfer activity during the summer.

With the promise of an additional one billion dollars to be set aside for investment in the club, the Qatari bid for Manchester United, which is being led by Sheikh Jassim Bin Hamad Al Thani, appears to be in pole position for the takeover battle in its favour.

According to Ilnapolista’s report, Manchester United are making preparations for “the biggest transfer market plan in the history of football.”

According to sources close to the Glazer family, whoever owns the club has a plan ready to invest at least €500 million in players during the upcoming summer transfer window. Qatar has been informed of this plan by the United Kingdom.

“United gave us the list of players they wanted to sign,” explained a member of the coaching team that was accompanying Sheikh Jassim during his meeting.

The manager of United, Erik ten Hag, is reportedly looking to strengthen the team by adding five players who can play in four different positions, as stated in the report.

“First, a striker, which they plan to cover with either Harry Kane or Victor Osimhen. Victor Osimhen is also an option.”

“Second, a midfielder like Frenkie de Jong, Adrien Rabiot or Alexis Mac Allister.

“Thirdly, two central defenders, Ronald Araujo and Kim min-Jae for whom they offer €100 million, and fourth on Kvaratskhelia or Kingsley Coman,” the rumour states.
