The management of the Pan-African conglomerate, Dangote Group, has announced its partnership with Ogun and Kaduna states Chamber of Commerce and Industry to stage this year’s International Trade fair with a promise to invest more in Nigeria’s economy as part of strategies to increase market share and reach more customers.

According to Mr. Anthony Chiejina, Group Chief, Branding and Communication, Dangote Industries Limited, subsidiaries of the Group are prominently displayed at the two fairs that began last weekend in Kaduna and Abeokuta, Ogun states, respectively.

While Chief Dapo Abiodun, the governor of Ogun State, will officially declare open the OGUNCCIMA-organized trade show today (Monday), President Muhammadu Buhari opened the Kaduna trade show over the weekend, urging attendees to take advantage of the opportunities it presents.

The President thanked Dangote Group for its contributions to national development while being represented by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Dr. Muhammad Mahmud Abubakar, and then dedicated the Kaduna fair to Dangote Group.

A symbolic Dangote truck built by Dangote Sinotruck West Africa Limited was presented to the President as he formally opened the Fair as a symbol of the Dangote Group’s dedication to the economic development of the country and of Africa as a whole.
Dangote Cement, Dangote Sugar, Dangote Petroleum Refinery, NASCON Allied Industries Plc, producers of Dangote Salt and seasoning, Gata Tradingss, and Dangote Sinotruck West Africa Limited are among the companies from the group that are exhibiting at the fair.

Visitors to the group pavilion at both fairs will have the chance to purchase goods from the companies at discounted prices, according to Mr. Chiejina. For the visitors, free samples of the products will also be available.

He noted that the timing of the two trade fairs is ideal because it gives distributors of the various products a chance to stock their stores.

In order to stay ahead of the competition in the industry by consistently meeting the needs of consumers and distributors, the group’s companies had begun implementing some strategies.

He gave the distributors and customers the assurance that the business would make every effort to meet their expectations, keep improving its quality in accordance with international standards, and also make it accessible at reasonable prices.

You may recall that Mr. Chiejina recently stated in a statement that the Dangote Petroleum Refinery would be operational before President Muhammadu Buhari leaves office in May 2023 and that Dangote Cement Plc. had signed a contract with Sinoma International Engineering of China to construct a new six million metric tons per year cement plant in Itori, Ogun state.

Mr. Chiejina urged attendees, clients, and dealers to stop by the Dangote booth at the events to purchase products and to register as intending distributors with and of the group subsidiaries.
