The governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni, has expressed her sorrow over the deaths of three people and the multiple injuries sustained by six more in a traffic accident that happened on the Potiskum-Bauchi road.
The accident was described as shocking by Governor Buni in a statement released on Sunday by his spokesperson, Mamman Mohammed.
The deaths and injuries were quite upsetting, but they occurred at the right time according to Almighty Allah’s will, he said.
Buni prayed to Allah to pardon their transgressions and give them Aljannatur Firdausi as well as the strength to endure the loss for their families.
He also prayed for those who had sustained various degrees of life-threatening injuries to recover quickly.
In a similar vein, Governor Buni expressed sympathy to those affected by the Sabon Pegi fire disaster in the Damaturu metropolis.
Governor Buni referred to the incident, which had an impact on some stores, as extremely unfortunate and sad.
