Man Allegedly Stabs Wife to Death in Lagos, Suspect on the Run

A tragic incident of domestic violence has been reported at River Valley Estate, Ojodu Berger area of Lagos State, where a man identified as Ayoola Ayanwale allegedly stabbed his wife, Ganiyat Ayanwale, to death.
According to reports, the incident occurred at the couple’s residence and was said to have happened without provocation. Neighbours who heard distress calls reportedly rushed to the scene and attempted to assist the victim, but she succumbed to her injuries.
Following the incident, Mr Ayoola Ayanwale fled the scene and is currently at large. Security agencies have since launched a manhunt to apprehend the suspect.
Members of the public have been urged to report any information that may aid in locating the suspect to the nearest police station.
The tragic incident has again raised concerns over the rising cases of domestic violence in the country, with renewed calls for couples to seek peaceful separation rather than resort to violence.
