Dino Melaye, the spokesperson for the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential campaign organization (PDP PCO), has prayed to God about the results of the presidential election on February 25 during the holy month of Ramadan.
According to reports, Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC’s) presidential candidate, has been proclaimed the election’s victor by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Following the announcement, Atiku Abubakar, the PDP’s presidential candidate, submitted a petition to the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal contesting Tinubu’s designation as the winner.

Atiku and the PDP have petitioned the tribunal to overturn Tinubu’s declaration of victory in the presidential election, which he believed had been rigged against him.
Melaye prayed to God on Wednesday, as Muslims around the world began the holy month of Ramadan, to use it to make up for INEC and the APC’s sins.
The former Kogi lawmaker prayed to God on Thursday for atonement for the sins of the ruling party and the election commission in a post on his Twitter account.
“Happy Ramadan,” he wrote. Oh God!! We ask you, Lord, to use this holy time to make amends for INEC and APC’s transgressions. Amen.”
