Nasarawa: LG Chairman Gets Festival Commission

The Executive Chairman, Akwanga Local Government, Hon Safiyanu Isa Andaha who concurrently serves as ALGON Chairman, Nasarawa State on Thursday endorses a bill for a law to establish Nzeh Mada Festival Commission for the Local Government.
The Nzeh Mada Festival Commission will be for the protection, preservation and promotion of Mada culture including Tourism and other matters connected with Akwanga Local Government Area, Nasarawa State.
The bill generated by the legislative Arm, Akwanga local government and endorsed on Thursday 17th April, 2025 has the participation of all the 11 electoral wards councillors in the third executive arm of Nasarawa State.
Dignitaries in the event includes the Executive Chiarman, Akwanga Local Government, All 11 Ward Councilors, the Chairman, Akwanga Traditional Councils and Chun Mada, Pastor Samson Gamu Yare, Akwanga traditional council members and all the District’s Heads and Village Heads in the Akwanga Local Government Area.
