The Indigenous People of Biafra, also known as IPOB, have stated that it is inadmissible to honour President Muhammadu Buhari by naming the Second Niger Bridge after him.

IPOB argued that the second Niger Bridge should not be named after Buhari but rather after a notable Igbo individual.

You may recall that the governors of the Southeast had decided to honour Buhari by naming the bridge after him after the project had been completed.

Nevertheless, the spokesperson for IPOB, Emma Powerful, stated that it is embarrassing that the bridge was named after Buhari because he does not respect the Igbo people.

The following is an excerpt from a statement issued by Powerful: “The attention of the global Family and movement of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Okwuchukwu KANU has been drawn to the shameful naming of the second Niger Bridge after General Muhammadu Buhari by the shameless Igbo politicians.”

He did not have any respect or care for Ndigbo, and he is aware that he does not deserve any praises in Biafra territory, so he did not even bother to show up for the inauguration ceremony of the bridge that is named after him on the second Niger river.

“The sellout among the South Eastern Governors, in particular APC Governors who are the useless idiots of the caliphate, want the genocidist and a hater of Ndigbo, Muhammadu Buhari, to become the face of the Eastern Region as they display the face and name of a terrorist sponsorer at the entry and exit point of South East through the bridge. ”

“Muhammadu Buhari was among the Nigerian genocidist soldiers who massacred Ndigbo at Asaba, Anambra, Enugu, and throughout the rest of the Eastern region.”

“His government coordinated the influx of Fulani terrorists masquerading as herdsmen who have slaughtered our people and raped our women. They are known as Fulani herdsmen.”

It is absolutely unacceptable to honour the killer Buhari with the naming of the Second Niger Bridge. The name of the bridge has to be changed to something more appropriate for Igbo speakers. The politicians from the East should tell us about any initiatives in the North that are named after Igbo people. Our political leaders ought to stop being cowards and political stooges for the Fulani Arewa. They are bringing shame on the culture of the Ndigbo people, who never prostrate themselves before another human being and instead worship only Chukwu Okike Abiama (God Almighty).

“IPOB continues to assert that the second Niger Bridge ought to be given a different name. If the politicians from the Eastern part of the country can’t come up with a name that honours a Biafran, then the name “Onitsha Head Bridge” should be kept.
