The Government of Burkina Faso has declared child delivery free in all Government hospitals in Burkina Faso.
This was decreed and announced by the Head of State of Burkina Faso, Ibrahim Traore when addressing the press as posted in social media handle that has gone viral.

The military leader of Burkina Faso has asked some daring questions in relation to childbirth and people are in support of it.
“Why should women be charged to bring life into the world?” he asked.
“I was born of a woman and can never watch to see women get charged so high to bring lives into the world.
My poor mother almost lost me due to such charges, if not for God i won’t alive to be a president today.
I decree today that childbirth for any pregnant woman who walks into any government hospital in Burkina Faso must be free!,” he stated.
