The West Africa Examination Council (WAEC), a regional exam body, has unveiled a platform that will provide access to high-quality data and offer solutions for the educational sector.
The new product was created, according to the Head of National Office, WAEC, Nigeria, Mr. Patrick Ehidiamen Areghan, at a ceremony held at the WAEC Office in Lagos, to ease the burden of manual data access by stakeholders, enhance the delivery of services of a higher caliber, and increase revenue for the Council.
Areghan claimed that his experiences in 2018 in the United States were the inspiration for the database platform. The database created by Sigma Technologies, he continued, would revolutionize the educational field and serve as a powerful research tool—all for a fee, just like the Digital Certificate introduced last year.
It was created to offer interested parties, including researchers, funding organizations, governmental organizations, school administrators, and parents, a trustworthy platform that offers educational insights gathered from various sources and delivered in straightforward graphs, summaries, and dashboards that aid in decision-making. Access to a thorough Interactive Web Report is the main perk of the EDUSTAT by WAEC platform, he revealed.
“As you all know, the new world is smarter and more instant,” he continued. There is no way to vary how statistical data analysis is accessed, compiled, interpreted, or presented.
