Why Naira crisis will help Tinubu at polls in 2023: APC leader
Senator Adesoji Akanbi, a senior member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and a close ally of Bola Tinubu, the party’s nominee for president in the 2023 election, has claimed that even though other political parties and their candidates also required money to run their campaigns and were similarly impacted by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) policy, the candidate of the ruling party may win swing votes as a result.
The APC leader was quoted as saying that despite the fact that a lack of cash was frustrating the general public, Tinubu’s “imminent victory” was demonstrated by the crowds at the recent presidential campaign rallies.

“They may end up benefiting Asiwaju, who they were aiming for. Many people are realizing that he is solely to blame. A rhythm is developing.
“There will be sympathy votes because people think it’s directed at him, and the fact that he openly expressed his opposition to the policy will certainly help. He’ll consider that a bonus, Akanbi said.
