Bola Tinubu, the incoming president, will relocate to the Maitama neighborhood of Abuja’s Defense Guest House.
Up until May 29, 2023, when he will be sworn in as president, he will conduct business at the Defense Guest House.
The All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council tweeted on Thursday, “The President-elect will be moving into Defence House, in Maitama, FCT, where he will spend the next couple of months, and from where he will move into the Presidential Villa.

The announcement of Tinubu’s victory in the February 25 presidential elections came just under 24 hours earlier, according to the Independent National Electoral Commission.
As President-elect, Mr. Tinubu will attend important meetings and receive briefings from the Defence House.
Festus Keyamo, the APC PCC’s spokesperson, said he could not confirm the precise time the President-elect will move into his new residence when he spoke with our correspondent on Thursday.
The current President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (ret. ), stayed at the same hotel months prior to his May 29, 2015, inauguration, so this is not a new development.

After that, he relocated to the Aso Rock Villa in Abuja, which served as his official residence.
According to the reports, Tinubu received 8,794,726 votes, placing him ahead of Peter Obi of the Labour Party (6,101,533) and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (6,984,520).
The New Nigerian Peoples Party’s Rabiu Kwankwaso finished fourth with 1,496,687 votes.
