Breaking: Jubilation in Nasarawa as Tribunal Unseat Governor Sule, declares Ombugadu Winner of Governorship Election

The Nasarawa State Election Petition Tribunal has declared the PDP Governorship candidate, Dr David Ombugadu the winner of 2023 Governorship Election in the state.
The declaration was made after a long sitting in Lafia, the capital city of the state on Monday 2nd October, 2023.
TEC News reports that Ijeh the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal
( GEPT) judgement started via zoom connection at about 9: 35am on Monday and the core points to note is:
1. The excess votes from Gayam Ciroma ward of Lafia LGA of the state was captured on the Bvas,
2. Other PU where results were nullified, were reinstated back as the GEPT noted that only the presiding officer of a PU had the mandate to nullify results thus
“Dr David Ombugadu of the PDP is hereby returned elected”.
