Abuja: Another Tragic Accident At Karu Bridge Claim Lives

Barely a month after which accident claimed lives at Karu Abuja , another tragic crash has reportedly occured at same spot Friday evening, sending more lives to their early grave.

An eye witnessed says the tragic accident was caused by a truck loaded with cement which its brakes failed while descending the Kugbo hill towards Nyanyan in the Federal Capital Territory.
It was gathered that the truck, after crushing about several vehicles and their occupants attempted to escape but was intercepted around Karu Roundabout by commercial motorcyclists.
In March, a similar fatal accident occurred on the same Karu Bridge that claimed many lives when a Dangote trailer powered by CNG lost its brakes crashed into several vehicles and claimed multiple lives.
For over 30years now, Karu bridge, even when there was no bridge has been claiming lives regularly through break failure of trainers , leaving residents and travellers bewildered of when the Government would find a lasting solution to the repeated occurrences.
