The city of Ilorin is already buzzing with activity as participants from across Nigeria arrive ahead of the 18th Annual National Conference of the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS) led by Hajia Samira Jibrin, Phd, scheduled to commence tomorrow, 26th November 2025, at the Timak Event Centre.

 

This year’s conference, themed “Education for Sustainable Development: A Technology-Driven, Innovation and Inclusive Approach,” promises to be one of the most impactful gatherings in the history of the association.

As the hosting zone, the North Central leadership of NAPPS has played a crucial role in driving nationwide mobilization and ensuring seamless preparation. The National Vice President, North Central Zone, Dr. Rahaman Adetunji, has been at the forefront of the mobilization efforts, consistently encouraging proprietors across states to participate in what he has described as a “breath-taking and transformative conference.”

Also adding strength to the momentum is the National President, Hajia Samira Jibrin, whose active engagement and efforts have continued to energize members and heighten expectations for the two-day event.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BOT), Dr. Said Mijinyawa, is already on ground in Ilorin, providing strong leadership and ensuring all necessary support structures are in place for a smooth and successful conference.

 

The conference planning committee has also assured participants of an unforgettable experience—featuring keynote presentations, policy discussions, innovative exhibitions, and strategic sessions aimed at repositioning private education for national development.
