Atiku Abubakar, the People’s Democratic Party’s (PDP) nominee for president in the February 25, 2023, election, has contended that the server did not malfunction as the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has asserted (INEC).
It was reported that Atiku and the PDP promised to present evidence to show that the “server,” being cloud-based, would have seamlessly switched to another server in the event of any improbable challenge because it was autoscaling groups with multiple network reception and offline upload options. The petition was filed before the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) sitting at the Court of Appeal in Abuja.

The petitioners assert that the technology system used by the 1st Respondent was subjected to Quality Assurance Tests (“QAT”) before being purchased and used.
The First Respondent is hereby required to produce the PricewaterhouseCoopers, PwC, prepared QAT Report, the Consultant Suleiman Farouk of Sulfman Consulting Limited prepared VAPT Report, and all other subsequent and related reports on the system.
The so-called ‘glitch,’ according to the petitioners, was a ruse to skew and switch the presidential election results in favor of the second and third respondents.
