Breaking: Over 60 lawyers from Labour Party invade INEC office to examine voting materials

The legal team for the Labour Party has arrived at the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Abuja to look over materials following its dissatisfaction with the results of the recently concluded presidential election.

According to reports, the team is currently having meetings with commission representatives.

The purpose of the meeting with INEC officials, which is taking place at the Commission’s national headquarters, is to start the process of inspecting the voting equipment used in the presidential election on February 25.

Dr. Livy Uzoukwu served as the team’s leader and over 60 attorneys were on it. After the meeting, they are anticipated to brief the media.
