State Government Declare Wednesday Public Holiday

Zamfara State Government on Tuesday 18th July, 2023 has declared Wednesday 19th July , 2023 as public holiday to mark new Islamic year.
The announcement was made on Tuesday through a letter dated 18th July 2023 and signed by Abubakar Muhammad Tsafe, Director Home Affairs, for the Permanent Secretary, Ministry for Security and Home Affiars, Gusau, Zamfara State.
The letter content indicate that Public Holiday to mark the Islamic Calendar is a tradition in the state and the Executive Governor is said to have approved the holiday while he enjoined all and sundry to keep praying for restoration of peace, glory and tranquility.
