Acts 27:44
And the rest, some on boards, and some on broken pieces of the ship. And so it came to pass, that they escaped all safe to land.
The above text is a summary of the whole story of Apostle Paul ship reck experience as a prisoner in Acts 27. 1-44. It was so bad that all hope to be saved was lost.
Acts 27:20
And when neither sun nor stars in many days appeared, and no small tempest lay on us, all hope that we should be saved was then taken away.
But thank God for the testimonies in verse 44 that says, escaped, ALL SAFE TO LAND. How? Some saved by winning, some on boards but others on broken pieces ( wreckage or pieces) , I call it fragment which means a part broken off; a small, detached portion; an imperfect part, either physically or not.
You might not succeed in holding on to money, your job, relationship or marriage , car or houses but please hold the fragment no matter what you couldn’t get or what you have left. Storms of life would always be there and very unavoidable. Even when you avoid tempest on the sea of life, it would still come.
Acts 27:4
And when we had launched from thence, we sailed under Cyprus, because the winds were contrary.
Can you see that they avoided contrary wind ? But same wind distabilized and endangered them.
Sir and ma, no matter how much you are careful, trouble would come, challenges would come and situations would shake us but our saving grace is Christ who would use the fragment in our lives and hands to save us.
The fragment could mean your prayer life, tithe, offerings, good did and sacrifices to the house of God and to sustain your relationship, marriage, job, ministry etc. Holding them well could make other bigger errors, weaknesses, limitations, sin to make them impossible to end you until you finally repent.
You may not be a saint but you need to sail. You may not be holy but you can be wholly. You might not be able to do much but hold the little faith of yours. Don’t let go the fragment, hold it tight and you will get to safely in Jesus name.

Prayer Point: Lord, as you saved and delivered Paul, save and deliver me from the storms in and of my life in Jesus name.
