Student’s death: Family protests despite Lagos State Govt order, Chrisland Schools continue to operate

The family of the late Whitney Adeniran protested as Chrisland schools continued their academic programs in defiance of a Lagos State government directive.
According to earlier reports, the 12-year-old student’s death prompted the Lagos State Government to order the closure of Chrisland School in Opebi, Ikeja, on Sunday.

However, the primary section of the school continued with its academic activities on Monday, which infuriated the family of the deceased, who demonstrated at the school’s gate and demanded a complete shutdown.
In an interview with Cable, Whitney’s brother Emmanuel Adeniran reaffirmed that the 12-year-old girl was healthy and that the school was trying to hide the truth.
We are here because the school ought to be shut down, he declared. Speaking of the condition, the school is aware of their current actions. Check out the father’s video on Twitter. We won’t let that slip under the rug because we have our proof, the students are speaking up, and they are also upset that the school is not telling the truth.
Constance Christopher, a different family member, added that the school administration should abide by the government order and observe a complete shutdown in addition to demanding justice for Whitney.
“We want justice for Whitney Adeniran, and if the state government has ordered that Chrisland School be closed, then it should be closed,” she declared.

In a statement on Sunday, Whitney’s father refuted suggestions that her daughter had suffered a cardiac arrest, pointing out that she was in good health.

He claims Whitney died from electrocution and has proof, adding that the water that was poured on her also contributed to her death.
In his own words, “She was electrocuted as soon as she leaned on the naked wire from one cotton candy vendor machine and died as a result.
