You don’t love Igbos, you voted for Atiku over Obi in presidential election, Wike slams Amaechi
Nyesom Wike, the governor of Rivers State, has criticized Rotimi Amaechi for declaring his love for the Igbo people.
Amaechi claimed that Igbo blood flows through his veins as he traveled around the Diobu neighborhood of Port Harcourt during the week to campaign for the APC candidate.
Amaechi criticized Wike’s administration for not treating Igbos fairly and claimed that when he was the governor of the state, his administration favored the Igbo, of which he also claimed to be a member.

However, Wike questioned how Amaechi could claim to love the Igbo and yet refuse to support the Labour Party candidate Peter Obi for president and instead vote for the PDP candidate, Atiku Abubakar, during a campaign rally in front of the 2023 governorship and State Assembly elections in the State.
You believe yourself to be intelligent, but you are not. Despite claiming to love the Igbo, you backed Atiku. You declined to back Obi. You were supposed to support the Igbos even though you didn’t know them.
“How long have you been a minister, and what have you done for the Igbo? How do you help the Igbo? He advocated for the South to gain power while he was running for president.

“After losing, he stopped believing in that and declared that power should go to the North. So that they can give him when the North is finished, said Wike.
