Protesters ask Supreme Court to halt Tinubu’s inauguration
Protesters stormed the Abuja Appeal Court on Monday, petitioning the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal (PEPT) to halt the inauguration of President-Elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The protesters, who claim to be a coalition of civil societies, urged the court to halt the inauguration, citing several outstanding issues involving the APC candidate.

After a brief gathering outside the Court of Appeal building, security personnel were able to disperse the protesters.
According to reports, the hearing on Peter Obi’s petition, the Labour Party’s (LP) presidential candidate, has been postponed until Wednesday, May 10.
