Kogi Guber polls: Two PDP Assembly candidates join APC
2 PDP Assembly candidates switch to the APC, according to Kogi Guber polls
The Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) Lokoja I and II State Constituency candidates, Hon. Ahmed Shehu Yabagi and Hon. Ishaiku Kashim Musa, have left the PDP and joined the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), ahead of the November governorship election.
Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the governor of Kogi State, welcomed them.
The decision of the politicians to join the ruling party was welcomed by Governor Bello.
He insisted that his administration values and respects ability rather than just those who have been in the ruling party for a long time.
He urged the politicians to utilize their wealth of experience, adding that they should also inspire their supporters to work tirelessly for the party’s victory.
The new members of the APC reassured the Governor in their individual remarks that they had made the decision to work for the ideals of their new political home.
