Breaking: Court Adjourns Obi’s Petition Against Tinubu

The pre-hearing of the petition filed by the Labour Party and its presidential candidate, Peter Obi, against Nigeria’s incoming president, Asiwaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has been postponed by the Presidential Election Petition Court until Friday, May 19.

The date was set by the court under Justice Haruna Tsammani after the petition’s parties, among other things, failed to reach an agreement on the petition’s supporting documents.

According to The Nation, there was drama on Wednesday at the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal when representatives from the two Labour Party factions clashed.
