The family of Elder Blessing Ngozi Nwobike has announced plans to celebrate his 90th birthday, describing the milestone as a testament to God’s faithfulness and grace throughout his life.
In a statement issued by his children, the family said the celebration, themed “Celebrating a Legacy of God’s Grace,” will take place on June 20 at 10:00 a.m. at No. 30 Ohaka Street, Ogbodo, Isiokpo.
According to the family, Elder Nwobike is widely respected as a devoted father, grandfather, and community leader whose wisdom, strength, and exemplary life have touched countless lives over the years.
To commemorate the occasion, his children have completed the construction of a church building, which will be donated to St. Joseph Chosen Church of Christ, Ogbodo, in Isiokpo Ancient Kingdom, as a thanksgiving offering and lasting contribution to the growth of the Christian faith in the community.
The family noted that the birthday celebration will bring together family members, friends, associates, and well-wishers to celebrate nine decades of a life marked by service, integrity, and commitment to family and community values.
The event is expected to feature tributes, prayers, reflections on Elder Nwobike’s journey and achievements, as well as the dedication of the newly completed church building.
According to the family, the gathering will not only commemorate his 90th birthday but also celebrate a legacy of faith, generosity, and service that continues to inspire younger generations.
Inviting friends and loved ones to join the festivities, the family expressed hope that their presence would make the occasion even more memorable as they celebrate “90 years of God’s grace.”
