Truck Drivers Pushed Me Off The Road Several Times, I Slept In Fueling Stations, Other Difficulties But Not seeing Davido Won’t Discourage me— Davido Fan who cycled from Benue to Lagos

A fan of the popular singer, David Adeleke also known as Davido,  Emmanuel Myam, aka Emmiwuks, has arrived Lagos after 15 days and has disclosed many challenges he encountered on the way as he rode his bicycle from Benue to Lagos.

Speaking on some of the challenges he faced during the trip, the young man said, “One of the challenges I faced was sharing the road with trucks on the highway. The drivers of those trucks did not take it easy with me. Some even pushed me off the road while trying to overtake them. There was also a day my bicycle had a fault.”

He noted that on a number of occasions, he had to sleep at fueling stations. He however added that at times, he met fans of the singer who paid for his accommodation.

The passionate fan of Davido said he will not be discouraged if he eventually does not meet the singer after riding a bicycle for 15 days from Benue State to Lagos to see him and despite the challenges encountered.

Emmiwuks eventually arrived Lagos on Friday, August 18, 2023, and was hosted by the Tiv Community in the State.

Recall that TEC News reported that While on the trip, Davido had told the young man to turn back, saying he was not around at the moment.

TEC News later gathered that Davido later asked his fan to send his account number but Emmiwuks shocked everyone during intervuew when he said he did not send his account number, contrary to the expectations of many.

However, Emmiwuks refused to turn back, and he stated that he would not be disappointed if he eventually did not meet Davido.

He said, “I will not be discouraged if I don’t eventually meet Davido. I will take it that, that is the way God planned it to happen. I will take it with faith.”

Asked why he loved Davido so much, he said, “I just like him. He is doing well in the music industry, and he has been helpful to the youth. I also like other artistes such as Olamide, Don Jazzy and Wizkid; but I feel special about Davido. He is more like an angel on earth.”
