The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) member Governor Wike was informed by the APC presidential candidate that the courtesy call was required because of his utmost respect and admiration for his support of justice, equity, and fairness.
According to Tinubu, he entered the race for president of Nigeria in 2023 on the basis of the philosophy that Governor Wike has consistently espoused: that power should return to the South.
